Shelby Anderson

Shelby Anderson, writer and performer of “Dead End Dirt Road,” started playing drums in his high school band in the seventh grade, then learned the guitar, piano and singing along the way. At 16, He was gigging with ‘Lozenro and the Foxy Lady’, a local Central Mississippi Rhythm and Blues group. Since then, Shelby has played with numerous bands and has been honing his songwriting craft.
When asked about his Musical influences Shelby says, “My influences run the gambit of many artists in every genre you could possibly imagine.”
Ethan Sumrall
Ethan Sumrall is a young, up and coming songwriter and performer from Vicksburg, Ms. He is also the writer and performer of ”Why Why Why” featured on Okra Medley vol. 1. Ethan began playing music in high school, finding influences in great acts such as Neil Young, James Taylor, and Hootie and the Blowfish. He began writing songs in a songwriting class while attending Delta State University, under the tutelage of Tricia Walker and the Delta Music Institute.
Since his days at Delta State, Ethan has formed a band which will begin performing shows soon. He is also working on the release of his new full
length CD to be released this summer, a follow up to his EP titled The Hummingbird Sessions (available on iTunes now)
