Three-time Grammy™ winner Ashley Cleveland has a new CD out called “God Don’t Never Change,” and she is making a free mp3 download available of the Fred McDowell blues hit, “You Gotta Move.”
Ashley, who is a Friend of DMI, visited the Delta year before last and rehearsed with our Ol’ Skool Revue band then performed a solo acoustic concert co-sponsored by DMI and the DSU Wesley Foundation. In addition to her solo career, Ashley is a member of the Bluebird Cafe’s legendary Women in The Round songwriters’ group along with DMI Director Tricia Walker.
